Meet the Team

Laura Battles is a homeschool mom to 3 kids. She founded Teach the Children after seeing the need within the local homeschool community to find resources, curriculum, and community that would help them to not only survive but thrive.

Her homeschool bible verse is Deuteronomy 6: 4-9 where it states you "shall teach them them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."

 

She has a passion for connecting families to the resources they need to teach their children.

She loves Jesus, her husband and kids, raising chickens and attempting to grow a garden.
